Louisville, UConn, Pitt, Others Seek J.R.

With the coaching merry go round that has occurred this spring, many top juniors are wondering where they will stand with certain programs.
RivalsHoops.com caught up with St. Benedict's Head Coach Dan Hurley on Tuesday, and he filled us in on the latest information with his talented 6-5 shooting guard/swingman, J.R. Smith.

Hurley said that Louisville, UConn, Villanova, Pitt, Marquette, Miami (FL) and possibly Kentucky will schedule visits this spring to come in and see Smith at St. Benedict's.
"I'm not sure if Carolina will continue to recruit him," Hurley said.
Last night, the Tar Heels named Roy Williams as their new head coach. Previous UNC Head Coach Matt Doherty had recruited Smith pretty hard this past winter, and it remains to be if Williams and his staff will go after J.R. with the same fervor.
