One of the premier shooters in the senior class, four-star forward Jordan Nwora had planned to hold off until the spring to make a choice. Then Louisville and Rick Pitino came calling.

After a weekend visit to Louisville, the 6-foot-7 forward from New York who is prepping this year at Saxton's River (Vt.) Vermont Academy told Rivals.com that he has ended his recruitment and committed to the Cardinals.

"It's the best look for my family and I," Nwora told Rivals.com

The weekend in Louisville where he was able to get to know the team and coaching staff only cemented Nwora's feelings that he was making the right choice.

"It was best for me because I will be able to play right away, play for with great teammates, and play for a Hall of Fame coach along with his great staff.

Capable of playing as either a small forward with size or a stretch four man, Nwora is a versatile offensive player who plays with a high skill level.

Though he is certainly versatile on the offensive side and also a very good positional rebounder, it is Nwora's ability to stretch the floor that really stands out.

One of the better deep corner jump shooters to come along in the past few years, Nwora hopes to be able to light up the scoreboard and play all over the floor. That vision aligns with Rick Pitino's.

"I envision myself being able to play a lot of minutes there and score a lot of points playing the two, three and four spots, as I can play all of those positions," said Nwora. "This is also what Pitino had told me."

Nwora is the third four-star prospect to commit to Louisville from the class of 2017. He joins big man Malik Williams and point guard Darius Perry to form a strong trio.
