Louisville Guard Chooses New School

Carlos Hurt, a left-handed 6-2, 175 pound point guard Louisville, is transferring to Wabash Valley College in Mount Carmel, Illinois. Hurt signed a letter of intent today.
"We're real excited to have Carlos," said Wabash head coach Mark Nelson. "We lose a lot of good players. He can step in and have an immediate impact. To have a point guard with experience like he has and high school McDonald's All American, we feel fortunate about having him come over and play for us."

Hurt played his high school ball at Alief-Elsik H.S. in Houston, Texas. He then signed a letter of intent with Louisville two years ago.
Hurt also considered Texas, Texas A&M, Syracuse, Arizona, Southern California, and Cincinnati during his high school recruiting process.
Nelson said Hurt's health is fine. "He's been cleared," Nelson said. "His health is good."
