Louisville Gets Junior Forward
Russ Blake reported yesterday on his JucoJunction.com site that Donta Smith, a 6-foot-6, 220-pound small forward from LaGrange, Kentucky has verbally committed to the Cardinals.
The rising sophomore at Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg, Illinois told Blake that he picked Louisville after seriously considering Cincinnati and Oklahoma.

Smith averaged 15.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and three assists per game as a freshman in helping Southeastern Illinois College reach the NJCAA Tournament. Smith earned all-tournament honors as the Falcons claimed seventh place at Hutch.
