Louisville Gaining with Wright

After spending last weekend on an unofficial visit at Louisville, Brandon Wright, the No. 2 player in the Rivals50 for the class of 2006, is listing the Cardinals as the fifth school in his top five school list.
“The trip was pretty nice,” said Wright, a 6-foot-9, 190-pound combo forward at Brentwood (Tenn) Academy. “We looked around at the athletic stuff. Went to Freedom Hall and looked at the locker rooms. I talked with Coach Pitino and Coach Taylor and then watched the Marquette game.”

“I like Louisville. They are moving up fast.”
Wright has had a stable top four for some time now, with Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Louisville making up the list. Michigan had been listed as a favorite at one time. But has now dropped out and Louisville has moved in.
“My top schools are Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, Indiana, and Louisville is probably up there too,” said Wright. “With Michigan, I have a lot of family up there, and it would probably be a good opportunity to be near my family. I also like Coach Amaker, but Michigan is not up there with those other schools.”
