Longar Longars List Grows

Longar Longar, a gangly 6'10'' 200 pound shot blocker from Rochester High School in Rochester, Minnesota, boosted his stock tremendously over the course of the summer, catapulting him onto the agendas of some of the top programs in the country.
Longar has heard from Kansas, Arizona, UConn, Fresno State, Michigan, Cincinnati, Oklahoma, Iowa State, Minnesota, and Indiana. Other schools that got involved with Longar earlier include Michigan State, Boston College, Creighton, Marquette, N.C. State, Wisconsin, and Nebraska.

Longar emerged as a dominant shot-blocker during his exploits at The Nike Camp in Indianapolis and Three Stripes at Hofstra University with Team Minnesota. Quick off his feet with pogo-like springs, Longar turned away many an attempt during the balmy month of July. His offensive game is definitely still a work in progress, but the fact that Longar runs the floor well and impacts the game at the defensive end of the floor and on the glass has made him an attractive prospect.
The Sudan native is still working on learning the English language, and may apply for an ACT waiver in order to try and obtain freshman eligibility.
