Long Lefty Focuses On Summer

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA -- Terrence Roberts, a long and agile 6-8, 205 pound junior power/combination forward from St. Anthony's H.S. in Jersey City, N.J., told us he won't make a decision for a while. "I am just focusing on finishing up my school year, taking my test in June," Roberts said. "Then I want to focus on my summer and improve my play."
Previously, Roberts told us that he had two schools at the top of his list -- Florida and Syracuse. "That really hasn't changed," Roberts said. "But I am also very interested in Virginia and Villanova."

In addition, Maryland, Illinois, Seton Hall, Connecticut, St. John's are also seriously being considered.
Roberts will play for Jimmy Salmon's T5T Playaz program this spring and summer. Roberts will travel with one of the most talented teams and will also face one of the more challenging schedules on the AAU circuit.
Roberts is a bouncy athlete who thrives in St. Anthony's up tempo attack of excellent guards. His quick leaping ability make him a potent force in the paint, but Roberts can also step away and knock down the short-midrange jumper on occasion. "Once I get to the summer I will think about my recruiting more," Roberts said. "But I don't want to rush into any decision. I think I could make a decision in August though."
