Long Island Big Forward Fielding Interest

James St. Robert, a 6-foot-7, 225-pound big forward from Copiague High School in Copiague, New York, on Long Island, N.Y. generated Division I interest and scholarship offers this summer with the New York Elite after emerging from relative obscurity.
St. Robert has been offered by Rider, Central Connecticut, Canisius, Stony Brook, and Monmouth, according to St. Robert's AAU coach with the New York Elite, Eric Jaklitsch. Rider will make an in-home visit in the near future. LIU would like to have St. Robert make an unofficial visit to their campus.

St. Robert had a strong showing at the Five Star Camp in July, and competed at the Three Stripes Tourney in Neptune, New Jersey and Las Vegas Big Time.
St. Robert has a strong frame and is willing to get physical.
James still has a little work to do in order to qualify for Division I play, but with a marginal boost to his SAT, he should be looking good academically.
