Lloyd Walls Worth Watching

Lloyd Walls, a 6-9, 235 pound power forward/center from Irvine Valley C.C. in Irvine, Calif., is entering his second year at the Southern California school.
Walls had signed with Loyola Marymount out of high school, but after a coaching change at the school in the spring of 2000, Lloyd and the new Lion coaching staff mutually agreed to part ways.

As a result, Walls enrolled at IVCC last fall. IVCC Head Coach Jerry Hernandez told JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com that he has received a wide degree of interest in Walls this fall, including calls from Northern Arizona, Southern Methodist, Cal State Los Angeles and Northwest Nazarene.
While Walls is limited athletically and does not react to the ball quickly, he plays very hard and is willing to give up his body on defense. Although he is most suited for the Division II level, Walls could garner Division I looks this winter because of his size and heart.
JUCO Junction will keep you posted on Walls' recruitment in the coming months, so stay tuned!
