Livingston To Hold Open Gym

Shaun Livingston, a 6-foot-6, 170-pound point guard from Peoria Central High School in Peoria, IL., is holding an open gym workout tonight (July 17) at his high school gymnasium. Coaches from three schools will be attending the event and will get one final look at the talented floor general before the Adidas Big Time in Las Vegas. Duke, Arizona and Illinois are the schools that will be in attendance.

“Yes, I’m holding an open gym session tonight at my high school,” Livingston said. “Coaches from Duke, Arizona and Illinois are coming to watch me practice.”

Rivals.com ranks Livingston No. 1 on the Rivals150 list, which also makes him the No. 1 player at his position. There is a chance that other schools could ultimately get involved in his recruitment, but Livingston hasn’t made a decision about that.

“I just want to take some visits in the fall and go from there,” he said. “I can’t really comment on whether I will consider adding other schools to my list. “I’ll just wait and see what happens after some of my visits are complete.”

Livingston and the rest of his Ft. Sooy No Limit AAU teammates will be in Las Vegas next week for the Adidas Big Time event, which takes place on July 22-26.
