Livingston: No Early Decision

Shaun Livingston, an outstanding 6-6, 167-pound gaurd from Peoria High School in Peoria, Illinoia, told us he has no plans to make an early decision in his recruiting process.
"I am not even going to think about a list right now," Livingston said. "I don't know where the lists come from but I haven't mentioned schools yet since I am wide open."

Livingston, a member of the 2004 class, told us he is likely to start focusing on his recruiting process in the spring of 2003. "I can't think about schools right now," Livingston said. "I go back to school in a couple of weeks and I just want to focus on my school year and season first."
Livingston, who averaged 10 points and seven assists last year as a sophomore, is very skilled and is likely to be one of the top 50 players ranked nationally in 2004. He is smooth and can score on his drive and also from the perimeter.
"I want to work on everything," Livingston said. "But I want to get stronger too. This will help me over the next season."
Livingston is thin but able to handle himself effectively against bigger bodies. He is likely to have schools like Arizona, Duke, Iowa, Illinois, Connecticut, North Carolina, Michigan State, etc recruiting him. "I have visited Iowa and Illinois unofficially," Livingston said. "But I know of schools interest right now only through the mail. So I will wait a while before I start listing schools."
