Livingston: Need More Time

It's easy for any defender to feel confident when they first take a look at Shaun Livingston, whose toothpick-like frame can provide overconfidence to the any uninformed high school player. But don't be deceived. Livingston plays with one goal in mind -- crush his enemy. He does it smoothly but so effectively.
Livingston, 6-foot-7 and just 170-pounds from Peoria High School in Illinois, is considered one of the top ten recruits in the country. He handles the point guard position with confidence and can score from any spot on the court. He was recently rated the top player in the Rivals150.

For these reasons, Livingston is constantly watched by the top schools on his list at these summer events. "Illinois, Arizona, Duke and North Carolina are my top schools," Livingston said.
When asked if he was close to making a decision, Livingston replied: "Not right now. I would like to take some visits in the Fall before I make up my mind."
Livingston declined to name a leader. "I like all four schools," he said. "I don't have any time when I could make the decision."
There have been rumors that circulated on the summer circuit that Livingston was ready to make a decision -- perhaps for the Duke basketball program. "That's not true," Livingston said. "I haven't made any decision and I don't know when I would make one right now."
Livingston, who can present so many matchup problems with his size and skills, is staying focused on the summer AAU events. "I am trying to get stronger by lifting (weights)," he said. "I am trying to improve every night that I play. I want to improve everything in my game."
