Lipscomb snags hometown duo

Lipscomb University of the Atlantic Sun Conference came away with a recruiting coup by convincing Brentwood Academy forwards Brian Wright and Brandon Brown to stay in Nashville, Tenn., for college.
Both players stand 6-foot-6, 180-pounds, but Wright, the younger brother of North Carolina freshman Brandan Wright, is more athletic and projects as a skilled power forward. A little more skilled on the perimeter, Brown is more of a small forward.

Wright chose Lipscomb after closely examining Furman. Brown turned down offers from Richmond and Chattanooga.
"This was not planed to be a package deal," said first year Brentwood Academy head coach Lyle Husband. "Lipscomb just did a great job recruiting both players. They knew the coaches well and feel they have a good chance to get playing time. They also feel they can compete for an Atlantic Sun championship and play in the tournament."
