Lidonde Has D-1 Interest

Abdi Lidonde, a 6-4, 185-pound shooting guard from St. Andrew's High School in Barrington, Rhode Island, continues to have more division one schools showing interest in his skills, according to his head coach Mike Hart. "Miami of Ohio has shown more interest recently," Hart said. "Rider, Manhattan, and Penn are also very high on his list."

Lidonde had a very good summer. He started off the AAU season by first putting in a solid ABCD camp in early July.

Previous interest by Providence, Missouri, Boston College, Kent State and Bowling Green greeted Lidonde in the early summer. But some of these schools nailed down commitments at Lidonde's position and moved on.

But Lidonde is well worth watching in the class of 2003. Lidonde has great range on his jumper. He has a nice pullup jumper and continues to show more consistency in his jumper.
