Lewis is No. 7 for Rutgers

When Mike Rice shows up for practice next season he's going to have a lot of newcomers. Rice and his Rutgers staff were already the owners of an impressive six man recruiting class to start the day on Friday. Now, thanks to a commitment from Greg Lewis, their 2011 recruiting class has swelled to seven.
A tough 6-foot-9 center from Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances, Lewis is a bruising insider. He runs the floor, rebounds and does all of the dirty work that you would like to see a center do.

During the summer, Lewis started to show a bit more. Running with Baltimore Elite, he demonstrated some emerging scoring tools and proved to be a pretty good shooter along the baseline and facing to 12 feet.
A three-star prospect who is currently ranked No. 130 nationally in the 2011 Rivals150, Lewis should complete a fine class for Rutgers. He joins a group that already includes four-star prospects Kadeem Jack and Jerome Seagears along with three-stars Myles Mack, Derrick Randall, Malick Kone and Mike Taylor.
