Lehigh lands Canadian prospect

Coach Billy Taylor from Lehigh University put the finishing touches on an outstanding recruiting class this week by landing one of the top forwards north of the border in Canada. Rivals.com has the scoop on the newest Mountain Hawk.
Greg Page didn't get a lot of exposure here in the U.S., but he's been a standout in the Montreal prep hoops circles for the past couple of years. The 6-foot-6 210 pound forward, nick-named "the Biz", led his high school team, Lindsay Place, to two consecutive Greater Montreal Athletic Association championships.

Page did a post-grad year at Vanier College this season and led the team, averaging 15 points and 6 rebounds per contest. Vanier won both the 3a regional and provincial championships with 5 players averaging double figures in scoring.
Page is a physical specimen who possesses the skills and mobility to play on the wing, but the toughness and aggressiveness to compete inside as well. He's also got explosive athleticism, especially in transition.
Page joins a loaded Mountain Hawks class that already included 7-foot 260 pound center John Gourley from Arkansas, 6-foot-8 PF Philip Anderson from California, and 6-foot-1 guard Matt Szalachowski from New Jersey.
Coach Taylor, and his assistants Bob Simmons and Brett Reed have done a superb job building Lehigh into a perennial Patriot League power, and this class should keep them at or near the top for the next several years.
