Leader for Traynham

A 5-foot-8, 155-pound point guard, Daryl Traynham was a big presence on the court for the DC Assault in July. With a couple high majors keeping tabs on him, Traynham is on the verge of signing with one of the top mid-major programs in the country.
Tennessee and Seton Hall have both been to Lee (Maine) High School to check on Trahnham, but it is Western Kentucky who is making the serious push to land Traynham this fall.

"Actually I'm supposed to visit Western Kentucky November 5th," said Traynhyam. "If the visit goes well, then I just might end my recruitment. I'm still open and not sure what I'm going to do. At this point I might sign, but I also might wait till the spring."
Traynham, the No. 110 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, is also considering a scholarship offer from UMass.
Traynham recently transfered to Pittsfield (Maine) Maine Central Institute.
Daryl Traynham scouting report:
Lightning quick and powerful, Traynham is one of the top on the ball defenders in the 2010 class. He is also a sound decision maker on the offensive end who can also create scoring opportunities with his penetration. Although not primarily a scorer, Traynham is known for scoring outbursts from time to time.
