Leader emerges for Tiller

Three-star prospect John Tiller presently has five schools on his school list. One of those schools, however, separated itself after a Midnight Madness visit by Tiller, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound combo guard from Wheeler High School in Marietta, Ga.
"Right now I'm considering UAB, George Washington, Clemson, Rice and Tulane," said Tiller. "I would say that UAB is the leader right now.

"I liked my visit there a whole lot. It was really fun. It looks like a good situation for me. I really like the style of play. They run and press just like we do in high school, so it should make for an easy transition."
Tiller, who has also visited Rice along with UAB, was scheduled to visit Tulane in September, but that visit was cancelled due to Hurricane Katrina.
"Tulane starts school on the 17th of January," he said. "If I haven't committed by then, I'll visit there. I'll also probably visit Clemson in two weeks, and then probably George Washington the week after."
During last years state championship season for Wheeler, Tiller averaged 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists per game.
