Leach a Heady PG

Bobby Leach, a heady 6-0 point guard from Neosho County C.C. in Chanute, Kan., has attracted quite a bit of Division I interest in recent weeks.
The Philadelphia native was the architect of the Panthers' upset victory over Barton County C.C. last month.

At this month's Jayhawk Shootout, Leach also helped Neosho to a pair of victories. In one win over Brown Mackie, he collected 16 points and 10 assists, while in a win over Cloud County, he amassed eight points and eight assists.
Despite not being explosive off the dribble or particularly athletic, Leach uses his smarts to out-duel the opposition.
"He's deceptive," Neosho Head Coach Craig Fletchall said. "He doesn't wow you with athleticism, he's a little bit old school. He uses a change of pace dribble effectively to maneuver around defenders and is a good free throw shooter."
Fletchall told Rivalshoops.com that Leach is wide open in his recruitment, but has attracted interest from programs such as Wisconsin Green Bay, SW Missouri State, Jacksonville State and UNC-Greensboro.
