Latest on Findlay duo

Henderson (Nev.) Findlay Prep is loaded with talent. Here is the latest recruiting news on two of their starters- Winston Shepard and Amedeo Della Valle.
Shepard, a 6-foot-8 versatile forward who did a great job defending Jabari Parker in the Hoophall Classic, has long been considered a heavy lean towards San Diego State and New Mexico.

Both schools might indeed be in the lead, but UNLV, Oklahoma State and UTEP are also in contention. Here recently Shepard has also added Oregon and St. John's to his list.
In no hurry to make a decision, Shepard plans to use all five of his official visits. He has already used one of those five to visit New Mexico.
Della Valle is also a versatile player like Shepard. At 6-foot-5, Della Valle can play all three perimeter positions.
"Amedeo has a high basketball IQ and a great feel for the game," said Findlay Prep head coach Mike Peck. "Like I tell everyone, strength is the key for how good Amedeo will be. He has a well rounded game. He can shoot, put it on the deck, pass and plays hard."
St. Mary's, Gonzaga and Arizona have offered Della Valle according to Peck and are at the top of his list. Peck also noted UCLA, UConn and Kansas as schools that are showing interest in Della Valle.
