The recruitment of the 2009 class is finally coming to a halt as the dog days of summer approach. The last elite prospect standing, Lance Stephenson opted for Cincinnati, but his star power was not quite enough to squeeze the Bearcats' recruiting class into the national top 25 rankings.

The late addition of Lamont Jones and Derrick Williams to Arizona did, however, push the Wildcats all the way to No. 12. Sean Miller came to a program without a recruit and in impressive fashion assembled a talented five-man class.
After hovering just outside the top 25, Clemson shoots to No. 18 in the 2009 team recruiting rankings with the commitment of four-star wing Noel Johnson. A casualty of the USC fallout, Johnson is a pivotal addition to Clemson's attack after the loss of three-point shooter Terrance Oglesby.
The Big 12 leads the way amongst conferences with six teams in the top 25. The ACC and Big East are represented by five teams each. The Pac-10 follows with four teams, and then the Big Ten with three teams and SEC with two teams.
