Las Vegas Prospects update

The Las Vegas Prospects AAU club has three 2006 high major prospects in P'Allen Stinnett, Marcus Lawrence and Andre McFarland who are close to making decisions about their college future. The club's top overall prospect is 2007 forward Billy White, and he recently picked up two offers.
Stinnett is presently visiting Iowa State after having visited Gonzaga last weekend. It looks like a two horse race between these two schools for the 6-foot-3, 175-pound shooting guard from Palo Verde High School, but USC is trying to get into the mix as well.

"Stinnett might take an unofficial to USC in June if he hasn't committed by then," said Las Vegas Prospects coach Anthony Brown. "He is like Andre McFarland in that he will either choose a school here in the next couple weeks or decide to wait till the fall.
"He had a great visit to Gonzaga. The players liked him, and he said he really liked the trip."
McFarland, a 6-foot-5, 205-pound small forward from Durango High School, appears to be an USC lean after a positive visit to the campus recently, but he also has Arizona State, Oregon State, UNLV and Western Illinois at the top of his list.
6-foot, 165-pound point guard Marcus Lawrence from Bishop Gorman High School has three schools at the top of his list. He recently had a very positive official visit to Oregon State. UNLV is also in the mix, and a June 11 unofficial visit is scheduled for Arizona State.
White, a 6-foot-7, 185-pound combo forward from Green River High School, oozes with big time potential. He is long, athletic and has developing and promising skill package. Washington and Iowa State have recently extended scholarship offers to White according to Coach Brown.
