Kurz Paces Penn Charter in Prime Time Win

TRENTON, N.J. -- Key Class of 2004 recruiting target Rob Kurz (right) scored 20 points to pace Penn Charter H.S. of Philadelphia to a 64-57 victory over Lake Clifton H.S. of Baltimore, Md., on Saturday afternoon at the Prime Time Shootout.
Kurz scored 13 of his 20 points in the first half as Penn Charter assumed a 33-32 half-time lead.

Penn Charter started to pull away from Lake Clifton in the third quarter, thanks to some scoring punch from junior point guard Sean Singletary.
Singletary hit a trio of three pointers in the second half, scoring 11 of his 17 in the game's final 16 minutes to help PC emerge with the victory.
Lake Clifton's 6-6 senior workhorse Tavon Nelson scored 16 points and sharp-shooting guard Paris Carter added 20 points (including four-three pointers)to lead the Charm City school's attack.
