Kojo Mensah Lists Top 5 Programs

Kojo Mensah/A>, a bouncy 6'1'' 180 pound combo guard/point guard from Bishop Loughlin High School in Brooklyn, has seen his stock continue to creep upward since the summer.
Kojo lists Dayton, St. Bonaventure, Providence, St. Joseph's, and Hofstra among his suitors. He says he has offers from all five. Mensah said that he will start setting up visits in the near future, and that he would like to visit all five campuses.

Kojo is an extremely athletic combo with a quick first step and a great pair of springs. Along with his most visible attribute, his athleticism, Mensah also possesses very good court awareness. He flings passes to teammates with both hands and sees the floor very well.
Mensah possesses a considerable reach for a guard, which helps him on the defensive end.
The biggest question mark with Kojo has been his shooting. While he is more inclined to slash, Mensah has shot the ball pretty well this winter for Coach Ted Gustus.
With his teammate, 6'6'' Kirk Bunn, sidelined with back problems of late, Mensah has been forced to play some three and four for Loughlin, which doesn't bother him all that much.
"It just lets me show what else I can do," said Mensah, with a shrug and a smile.
Kojo competed with The Juice Crew on the AAU circuit last summer, as well as Riverside Church.
Mensah carries an 85 scholastic average. He has scored 920 on the SAT. He may take the test again to try and crack 1000, but just for his own personal satisfaction, not because his current credentials would prevent him from gaining admission to a college.
