Kojo Mensah Has Early Looks

Athletic combo guard Kojo Mensah from Bishop
Loughlin is a rising junior who has been an integral

part of the Lions' attack.
The 6'1'', 175 pound Mensah, who is averaging 14 points
and seven rebounds for coach Ted Gustus, is a spidery
combo who is an effective slasher. With his reach and
body control, Mensah gets the majority of his points
slashing to the bucket and outmaneuvering defenders en
route to the hoop, using his wingspan to elude
would-be shot-blockers.
Mensah is an excellent rebounder from the guard
spot. He is very active on the glass despite only
standing 6'1'', using his wingspan and leaping ability
to haul down boards.
Mensah has good court awareness and is a strong
passer. He is a competent ball-handler, and can run
the point, but is often more effective from the wing.
Mensah has heard early on in the recruiting process
from Hartford and Hofstra. He plays AAU ball with the
Riverside Church program.
Mensah carries an 81 average in the classroom. He
has scored 940 on the PSAT. Kojo will take the SAT for
the first time in March.
