Kojo Attracts Some D-1 Interest

Kojo Mensah, Bishop Loughlin's (Brooklyn, New York) explosive 6-1, 180 point guard, recently received some good news on the SAT.
Mensah scored 1010 on his June SAT, qualifying more than comfortably. Tack on an 85 academic average, and Mensah sports some solid academic credentials.

Kojo was not selected for either sneaker camp, but will participate in The Peach Jam with Riverside Church. He may also travel to the Vegas Big Time Tournament with the Church.
Mensah told Rivals Hoops that St. John's recently expressed preliminary interest, while Pittsburgh also continues to be in contact. Mensah has offers from a number of schools in the MAAC, including Iona, Siena, Canisius, Manhattan, and Rider. Hofstra had also previously offered.
Kojo told Rivals Hoops that he is very open to the idea of going to school in the Midwest or the South and facing new competition. While Mensah's list is mostly limited to the Northeast, his exploits in July could open that up a little bit.
