Koenig staying in-state

2013 four-star prospect Bronson Koenig had some high quality college options, including his in-state school, and this close to home option will be his destination.
With interest ranging from Duke, Kansas, North Carolina to Virginia, Koenig, who is from La Crosse (Wisc.) Aquinas High School, has decided over the weekend to stay in-state and be a Wisconsin Badger.

Ultimately the 6-foot-2 combo guard chose Wisconsin over North Carolina, giving the Tar Heels another tough recruiting loss in the Midwest.
The first Wisconsin commitment in the 2013 class, Koenig play for the Wisconsin Playground Warriors travel team program that also produced five-star 2012 Wisconsin commitment Sam Dekker.
A wiry athlete, Koenig doesn't yet possess blow by speed, but he is a crafty ball handler with quality floor vision and a dangerous outside shooting stroke.
He is the No. 64 ranked prospect in the Rivals150.
