Knoxs stock on the rise

With size and grades, Justin Knox, of Tuscaloosa Central (Ala.) has his stock on the rise. Two SEC programs have offered the 6-foot-9, 215-pound power forward.
"I'm interested in Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, UAB, LSU, Georgia, Cincinnati, Columbia and Virginia," said Knox. "Alabama, UAB and LSU have offered so far, but I'm still open at this point."

Knox, who averaged 8 points and 8 rebounds per game as a junior, has one unofficial visit under his belt and plans to use all of his official visits this fall.
"I've been to Alabama on an unofficial and enjoyed it," he said. "I look forward to taking my official visits and seeing some other schools and what they have to offer. I'll probably use all five."
Acknowledging his need to improve his footwork and strength, Knox has academic considerations as his foremost concern in choosing school.
"My main concern is to go to a school that has great academics," said Knox, who has a 3.5 GPA and a score of 22 on the ACT. "Also, I want to go to a place I feel comfortable and a place where they work through their big men."
Coaches will continue to track Knox the rest of the month as he plays in the Super Showcase in Orlando, Fla., and then finishes the month in Nashville, Tenn.
