Alabama junior Justin Knox is scheduled to graduate this summer. The 6-foot-9 forward is looking for a new school where he can play his last season. Next week he will officially visit two ACC schools.
According to Knox's uncle and former travel team coach Darien Knox, his nephew will officially visit North Carolina on Monday.
He will then immediately follow up the North Carolina visit with an official visit to Georgia Tech.
Knox, who averaged 6.6 points and 3.7 rebounds in 20 minutes of play last year at Alabama, will be eligible to play next year. His release from Alabama does, however, prevent Knox from going to another SEC school or school in the Alabama state system.
Knox has appealed these restrictions, however, and is waiting for a ruling because he would also like to visit Ole Miss and UAB.
UTEP and Southern Miss are also in play for Knox, who would like to make a decision by the end of the month.
All but North Carolina have officially offered Knox at this point.
