Knowledge Miller, a 6-1, 185 pound point guard from Park West High School in New York City, has an early list of six schools that are recruiting him.

We spoke with Miller at last week's Triple S Harley Davidson Charlie Weber Invitational at West Virginia University following his New York Gauchos National Division champsionship win over the Rhode Island Breakers.

Miller averaged 25 points, eight rebounds and six assists as a junior. Miller said, "I'm working on improving my defense and shooting this summer."

Schools interested in this well-built point include Hofstra, Cincinnati, Quinnipiac, Manhattan, Hartford and Rider. He's had an unofficial visit to Hofstra.

Miller said he has a 75 average and will take the SAT for the first time this fall.

And he patiently let me ask him a question that must get tiresome. His answer: "It's my father's name."
