Kleiza Likes Mizzou, FLA St UVA

Linas Kleiza, the husky 6-8, 245 pound power forward from Montrose Christian in Rockville, Md., is still sitting at three colleges this spring.

RivalsHoops.com caught up with Montrose Head Coach Stu Vetter this past weekend, and he told us that Kleiza's final three are Missouri, Florida State and Virginia.

However, recent events at Missouri have given Kleiza pause, Vetter said.

"He has visited all three schools on his list, but he is waiting to see what happens with the allegations surrounding the Missouri program," Vetter said. "He's not ready to make a decision, because Missouri is very high on his list."

The Tiger program has taken some heat recently on a couple of fronts. First, it was revealed that the Missouri staff may have made improper contact in its recruitment of VMI transfer Jason Conley. More recently, Tiger starting junior guard Ricky Clemons was suspended for a year for his involvement in a domestic dispute.
