Kiril Wachsmann Has Top Three List

Kiril Wachsmann, a burly 6-7, 240 pound power forward from All Hallows H.S. in the Bronx, N.Y., is being chased this fall by a number of middle Division I programs.
Wachsmann told the Insiders Report that he has a top four three list of George Mason, Marist and Iona. All three of those schools have offered him scholarships.

In addition to those three schools, Wachsmann said he is being looked at by Colgate, Vermont, Rider, Quinnipiac, Princeton and Yale.
He has already paid Iona an unofficial visit, but has yet to make any official visits this fall. He said he is not sure if he'll sign early or wait until the spring to pull the trigger.
As a junior at All Hallows, Wachsmann averaged 10 points, seven rebounds and one block per contest. He said he carries a 91 average in the classroom and scored an 1140 on the SAT.
Wachsmann attended the first session of the Eastern Invitational Basketball Clinic in Trenton this past July, and also played at the Beast of the East Tournament at Fordham University with his Washington Heights Warriors squad.
This past weekend at the Charlie Weber Tournament, Wachsmann impressed us with his cerebral play. What he lacks in foot speed, Wachsmann makes up for by moving exceptionally well without the ball. He uses his body well inside and features a feathery soft touch around the basket.
Wachsmann said he expects to play in one more event this fall, Wayne Simone's Connecticut Select Challenge from Oct. 5-8 in the Nutmeg State.
