King names a top three

Since decommitting from UCLA, Taylor King has been looking at six schools. Three schools, however, have risen to the top for King, a 6-foot-7, 215-pound small forward from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Calif.
"My top three are Duke, Villanova and North Carolina," said. King, the No. 39 ranked prospect in the class of 2007. "I'm also very interested in Syracuse, Gonzaga and USC."

With offers from all of the schools except for Duke, King has already visited all of these schools except for Gonzaga. He plans to make that visit after the season, and then choose a school shortly after that.
As to how he feels about his top three schools, King had these comments.
"I like the way the Duke coaches interact with the players and the way they run their program," he said. "It is also a very good academic school.
"Villanova is a great school. They also have a great system for me. The small college atmosphere there is very attractive.
"North Carolina has a great head coach and staff. I like their style of play, and I think it fits me well."
Taylor King scouting report:
A three-point shooting specialist with very deep range, King is also a strong rebounder. Through positioning and good hands, he comes up with the basketball around the basket. Needs to improve his foot speed to defend on the perimeter. His ball handling is also in need of improvement.
