King Holds Off Most Trips

While a number of players are streaking towards decisions as the November signing period approaches, Anthony King isn't planning any more official visits until after the Christmas holidays.
King, a husky 6-9, 240 pound power forward from Southern H.S. in Durham, N.C., told Rivalshoops.com that the only trip he'll take soon is an unofficial one to East Carolina.

Back in late August, King took his first official visit to Marshall. He's been offered by both Marshall and East Carolina thus far, and has seen recent interest from the University of Rhode Island.
King said that he doesn't plan on taking any official visits until after the Christmas holiday. He anticipates that a lot of colleges coaches will catch him in action with Southern H.S. at the Glaxo-Wellcome Tournament in Raleigh, N.C.
Last season at Southern, King averaged 17 points, nine rebounds and three blocks per contest.
After attending the Nike All-American Camp, King hooked up with the North Carolina Gaters at the AAU Super Showcase, and then played with the North Carolina Red Storm at the AAU Nationals.
King said he has a 2.6 GPA and missed a qualifying test score on the SAT exam last June. Toward that end, he is scheduled to take the test again on November 2.
Rivalshoops will keep you posted on King's situation in the coming months, so stay tuned.
