Kevin Reed Is A Steal
Kevin Reed, a 6-3, 190 pound shooting guard from the St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, Conn., has committed to Maine. Reed wanted to stay close to home, according to people familiar with his recruiting situation.
This is a steal for Miaine. Reed can light it up from the perimeter and score points in bunches. He did have many other division one looks this past season. The last list provided to us by head coach Jere Quinn of St. Thomas More was Robert Morris, St. Peter's, Maine and James Madison.
Blessed with a sturdy frame, Reed is a proficient catch and shoot three point specialist who loves to pop off screens. A native of the Cape Cod area in Massachusetts, Reed had played in the past with Vin Pastore's Mass Wildcat program.
