Kerbrell Brown Ready For Oregon State
Kerbrell Brown, a 6-6, 220 pound combination forward from Dodge City C.C. in Dodge City, Kan., had a terrific sophomore campaign for Brian Hoberecht's Conquistador program.
Brown, who signed in the fall with Oregon State, averaged 15 points per game for the season and close to 20 points per game in Jayhawk West Conference action.

In the opening round of the Region VI playoffs last week, Brown scored 19 points on eight of 13 shooting as the Conqs downed Independence, 81-71. A night later, Dodge City was bounced from the semis by eventual champion Coffeyville.
"He has the ability to score off the bounce or with his back to the basket," Hoberecht said. "He has range out to three, plus he rebounds and defends."
A native of New Orleans, La., Brown is expected to graduate in the summer.
