Kentucky shooter picks Oklahoma State

Late Tuesday night, Travis Ford and Oklahoma State picked up a commitment from the class of 2012. The addition of Adam Wing is an interesting one to say the least.
Previously recruited as a pro-style quarterback, Wing had committed to play on the gridiron at Marshall.

However, the rising senior at Morehead (Kent.) Rowan County is also a standout as a 6-foot-3 shooting guard.
Oklahoma State saw him play in the Kentucky state tournament, came out to watch him play again during the spring evaluation period and made the offer.
"It's kind of like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," Wing told Jody Demling of The Louisville Courier-Journal. "Basketball is always what I wanted to do but I never really got the exposure until the state tournament when I had a few good games and people started saying, 'Who is that kid.'"
Pretty much unknown outside of the state of Kentucky, Wing is regarded as a high level net stripper with deep range. Wing is the Cowboys' first commitment from the class of 2012.
