Four-star power forward Sacha Killeya-Jones is off the board again.
The 6-foot-10 power forward who initially committed to Virginia earlier in the process has committed to Kentucky his mother Ley Killeya-Jones confirmed to Rivals.com.
A native of Chapel Hill, N.C, Killeya-Jones plays his high school ball at Lynchburg (Va.) Episcopal and was a standout all summer long.
During stops at the NBPA Top 100 Camp, Under Armour All-America camp and on the Under Armour and Adidas circuits with Team Felton and Team Loaded Virginia Killeya-Jones showed improved game each step of the way.
For now, Killeya-Jones bread and butter are his ability to run the floor, bouncy athleticism and ability to step away and shoot the ball. He has legitimate range to the three point line, wields a particularly dangerous turnaround jumper that he's capable of shooting from either side of the floor and he is able to recover quickly on the defensive end thanks to his overall agility.
In fact, he's pretty similar in body type and playing style to current Kentucky freshman and 2015's No. 1 player Skal Labissiere.
Killeya-Jones is on vacation and currently unavailable for comment, but for now he is John Calipari's second commitment from the class of 2016. Currently ranked No. 51 in his class, Killeya-Jones has positioned himself for a move up in the next rankings update and he joins four-star New Zealend big man Tai Wynyard -- who may enroll for the second semester of the 2015-16 season -- in the class.
