Kenton Paulino Update

Kenton Paulino, a slick 6-2 shooting/combo guard from Maine Central Institute in Pittsfield, Me., has gotten a qualifying SAT score.
Paulino came to MCI after prepping at Fremont H.S. in Los Angeles so that he could boost his academic credentials.

His play this past summer with the H-Squad program sparked high major recruiting interest from programs like Seton Hall and Providence, although Paulino opted to sign with Texas after visiting the Big 12 program in the fall.
Henrikson said that Paulino scored a 950 on the SAT, meaning that he should be eligible next fall for the Longhorns.
Paulino is a gifted offensive player who can create off the dribble. He is blessed with good quickness and uses his handle to create separation from defenders for open looks.
While his offensive game is more refined, Paulino throws good outlet passes to start the break and can play some point. He can also finish with either hand around the rim.
