Bruising 2010 power forward Markus Kennedy will add some size to one of the top programs in the Big East.
The 6-foot-9, 250-pounder from Cherry Hill (N.J.) Living Christian will bring his physical and skilled game back to his original city at Villanova.
"I really liked the players, coaches, campus and the academics," said Kennedy.
Kennedy also considered Temple and West Virginia.
Ranked the No. 131 prospect in the class of 2010, Kennedy impressed with his play at the Boo Williams Invitational with Team Final.
Coach Jay Wright has big hopes for Kennedy in the Villanova program.
"It all depends on how I do in practice, but Coach Wright says I have the ability to be the best center on the court when I play," Kennedy said.
Kennedy joins four-star James Bell as the second member of Villanova's 2010 recruiting class.
