Keep An Eye On Drummond

Ca'mel Drummond, a burly 6-5, 234 pound power forward from West Orange H.S. in West Orange, N.J., has looked good this spring at several events.
In particular, Drummond was terrific at the Charlie Weber Invitational, where he played with the New Jersey Wildcats.

While his height makes him a bit of a tweener, Drummond has an excellent power game in the paint. He's got good hands, nimble foot work and uses both hands adroitly around the tin.
Drummond told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that Rutgers, Davidson, Rider and Long Beach State are among the programs that have expressed an interest in him.
As a junior this year at West Orange, Drummond averaged 14.5 points and 9.4 rebounds per game for a 19-5 squad.
Drummond, who has bounced around to a few high schools, said he was unsure of his current GPA. He plans to take the SAT for the first time in June.
Last year, Drummond played for the Jersey Shore Cyclones. This year, he is playing for Tim Morgan's New Jersey Wildcats program.
We'll keep an eye on him this spring and summer, so stay tuned.
