Kee unlocks decision

Martavis Kee had an idea before he left his Fort Lauderdale, Fla., for Temple that he would come back to St. Thomas Aquinas High School as a committed player. The trip came and went and the three-star guard is proud to be the newest Owl.
Kee wasted little time in making his decision and decided that Philadelphia was the right place for him.

"They have a senior point guard right now so the chance I get some burn right away is there," Kee said. "When I saw the city, it made my decision so much easier."
The Owls have a good looking guard coming to the Atlantic 10. Kee's scoring ability and transition to the point guard spot should make a smooth transition in the up and down style that resides in the A10.
"It was the city and the tradition of the school and coach (Fran) Dunphy has good connections in Philly with some pro guys and trainers," Kee said. "When I go up there for summer school, I'll take my classes (in the morning) and workout with some of the 76ers and some local guys that are trying out for the NBA. It's going to be a good situation."
The overall draw of Philly also struck a chord with the Florida native.
"It can't get any better than that. All of the leagues there and al of the players there. You'll always get better It's a big basketball city."
Kee also considered Marquette, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Miami.
