Big time center Alexander Kaun, 6-foot-11 and 245-pounds from Florida Air Academy, made a decision today. Kaun, who called the coaches this morning with his decision, gave a verbal commitment to the Kansas program.
Kansas has also landed outstanding guard Russell Robinson who made his verbal official a couple of days ago after taking a visit to the Jayhawk campus last weekend. Big forward Darnell Jackson has also given a commitment to Kansas, giving the Jayhawks a top five class.
Kaun, who was injured this summer, elevated his stock during the spring play of 2003. Kaun chose Kansas over Duke in what was termed by a source close to the big man as "very close and could have gone either way."
Kaun is listed as the 23rd best player in the country in the Rivals150.
