Justin Johnson May Wait

Justin Johnson, a 6-8, 210-pound forward from Merrillville High School in the state of Indiana, told us he might wait until the spring before he decides on a college choice.

Johnson listed Butler, Indiana State, Kansas State, Weber State, San Diego State, and Xavier as schools he is currently interested in. "I am still wide open," Johnson said. "I haven't made up my mind on whether I want to start taking visits now or wait until the winter. Then I could decide in the spring."

Johnson averaged 14 points, eight rebounds, and four blocks per game last season as a junior. Johnson has a chance to be a combo forward but right now he is a power forward. His lower body needs to get stronger but he is very good in transition. He is a good run/jump athlete.

Johnson said he has a 2.5 GPA.
