Justin Hassell Has List

Justin Hassell's name may have disappeared off the basketball radar screen for a while, but the 6-4, 205 pound small forward from New York City is resurrecting his career this winter at the City College of San Francisco in California.
Hassell has been a big factor in CCSF's early season success. He scored 20 points in the Rams' 95-93 championship game victory over San Jose City College in the Jaguars' Holiday Basketball Classic.

Against San Jose, Hassell was very effective in slashing the baseline and finishing creatively around the basket. An average ball handler, Hassell can post up small perimeter defenders or step out and shoot from the wing reliably out to midrange. The bottom line is that he's a tough competitor who knows how to win.
Hassell is just happy to be back and playing after sitting out all of last year following a car accident. Following a solid career at LaSalle Academy in New York City, Hassell attended Trinity Valley C.C. in 1999-2000.
According to CCSF Head Coach Harry Pantazopulos, Hassell has received interest from San Jose State, Robert Morris, Fairfield, Pepperdine, Idaho State, Colorado State and St. Mary's.
Since he will need to graduate in either the spring or summer to go D-I, Pantazopulos said he has also heard from D-II programs like Southern Colorado and Western New Mexico.
Hassell does not plan to sign until the spring, and JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com will keep you posted on his recruitment as the basketball season heats up this winter.
