Justin Flatt Continues To Impress

The Hardin Country High School coaching staff, including Greg Wolfe, told us that Justin Flatta 6-4, 185-pound shooting guard, is excited about his future opportunity at North Carolina State.
"Justin did commit to NC State this past Friday," Wolfe said. "Virginia flew in to see him practice Thursday, and they loved him! They wanted him to come for an official visit the next weekend. A scholarship offer seemed inevitable."

Justin took his official visit to NC state December 30th-January 1st. "He fell in love with the place," Flatt said. "The staff of Mark Phelps and Larry Harris had been recruiting him for a long time.
"He had developed a great relationship with those two, especially Phelps. Upon Meeting Coach Sendeck, who flew in for a practice, Justin decided to take an official visit, and they truly rolled out the red carpet. After seeing the facilities and meeting the players, Justin felt as if it were a perfect fit."
Wolfe told us that Justin is also a fine young man. "Justin is a young man who has truly made his dreams come true," Flatt said. "I am his assistant coach, but also his uncle (our relationship is more like brothers). I have seen him work hour after hour and make sacrifice after sacrifice to achieve a dream, and now that dream has become reality."
Flatt is having a great senior season. His team is currently 13-2. Flatt averages 31.7 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals per game. Other schools who were actively recruiting included Virginia, Ohio St, Florida State, West Virginia, Tennessee, Clemson, Arkansas St, Tennessee Tech, UT Martin, Penn State, and Fairfield.
