Junior big man in no hurry

RANKINGS: 2015 - 2016 - 2017
Lancaster High School in Dallas has become a hot spot over the years for college coaches looking for talented young players. In the 2015 class, many schools came through to see Elijah Thomas, who recently committed to Texas A&M, but many of them will likely be coming back in 2016 to recruit center Nate Morris.

To date, Morris said Tulsa, Oklahoma State, Texas, Kansas State, Creighton, SMU, Baylor and Texas A&M are involved in his recruitment.
Not too long ago, the four-star prospect visited Oklahoma State for the Cowboys' midnight madness event.
"It went well," Morris said. "I got to talk to the coaches and players and hang out. They just talked to me about what they are trying to do there. I like their program. I've always liked them. They never really have a bad year."
SMU is another program that has had Morris on its campus already.
"I like their program. One of their coaches is really cool with me, Coach Ulric [Maligi]. We've known each other for a while now."
The University of Texas is also involved in trying to keep Morris from leaving the Lone Star state for college.
"It's a big school. It's nice down there. I've been down there for games when I was younger."
One school Morris says he'd like to learn more about is Kansas State.
"I actually don't know a ton about their program, but I like their school. I like the way they play. One of my good friends, Marcus Foster, plays there."
Morris plans on keeping his recruitment open for the time being in order to help his teammates and won't be deciding on a school any time soon.
"I'll probably cut my list down. I'm trying to stay as open as possible so that my teammates can get more looks. I'll probably decide this time next year."
