JUCO Visits Planned For Ibrahim

Sani Ibrahim, a 6-11 center from the Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, has taken the wise route for his career, according to several smart people in the basketball world.
Ibrahim, as most know by now, bypassed the June NBA draft and will head to a junior college. According to Oak Hill head coach Steve Smith, Ibrahim is now in the process of taking visits.

"I believe he is visiting a JUCO in Florida," Smith said. "I think it's Tallahassee Community College. I think he will also visit Indian Hills and he was going to probably taken another visit."
This is the wise move for Sani. Ibrahim did not qualify academically. So a year or two on the JUCO level will give Sani more time to showcase his skills and improve his game. Then, maybe, the NBA scouts will show more interest.
Ibrahim did make significant progress in the classroom and improved his game on the court in the latter part of the year for Oak Hill.
Ibrahim had some recruiting interest from West Virginia, Alabama, Georgia, Cincinnati, Illinois, Georgia, and Indiana this past year. It's likely these schools will keep an eye on Ibrahim at the JUCO level too.
