Juco Power Forward Delvar Barrett
Delvar Barrett, a 6-7, 280 pound power forward anchored the low post for Schoolcraft College in Livonia, MI, this season.
Barrett, who was listed in the recent NJCAA Tournament program as a freshman but is really a sophomore, averaged nine points and five rebounds per game for Schoolcraft. He shot 63 percent from the field.

Barrett's career has been sidetracked by family issues ever since he left Bridgton Academy three years ago for Toledo. He spent just one semester at Toledo, and was expected to enroll at Independence C.C. in Kansas in the fall of 2000.
That never happened, and Barrett wound up at Schoolcraft instead.
Cleveland State, Buffalo, Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Canisius are among the programs looking at Barrett this spring. Barrett is a native of Detroit.
