JUCO Point Guard A Sleeper

Kingsley Edwards, a 6'0'' 175 pound combo guard/point guard from Monroe College in The Bronx, New York, has caught the eye of some Division I programs with his play this winter.
Drexel, Florida International, and UCF, as well as a number of Division II programs, have expressed in the New York City native. He does not yet have any scholarship offers. Kingsley, who played his prep ball at Laurinburg Academy in Laurinburg, North Carolina, is currently averaging 13.6 points, 5.0 assists, and 3.1 rebounds for Monroe, ranked in the top 20 of the NJCAA Division I poll. Edwards is shooting 46.7 percent (43/92) from behind the arc.
Edwards transferred into Monroe from Butler Community College in Kansas, where he averaged 12 points, five rebounds and two assists as a freshman.
